The amount of the total system, installation and training of personnel is $141,275.40. Vendors having the capability to supply functionally equivalent and fully compatible equipment must submit written responses detailing their ability to meet these requirements at a lower overall cost than provided by Harris. Written responses, including GSA contract number (if applicalbe), prices, and a detailed description of capabilities necessary to meet the requirement must be received by the Contracting Officer within 15 calendar days after publication of this notice. No contract will be awarded on the basis of any response to this notice, which is a synopsis of intent to place an order against a GSA Schedule contract and is not to be considered a request for proposals. No telephone requests. No solicitation document exists. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. (216)
