Solicitation Notice: for renovation of building 10 13 east PCU located 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland 20892. The work will be constructed in particular phases. The work includes demolition of existing features in 13 East PCU, building 10 and providing new architectural, mechnical electrical and plumbing features. The contractor shall store the following items in a warehouse within a reasonable distance to the NIH campus prior to commencement to the actual construction phase. - All case work, Carpet, Wall Paper, Vinyl floor cover, Bathroom accessories, including but not limited to toilets and showerheads, Light fixtures and other electrical apparatus, Corridor guard rails, Doors and associated hardware, and New weather masters, if that option is selected by the Government. The notice to proceed with the actual construction shall be issued, ten weeks past the construction award, provided that the preceding step is completed. At the end of the project, the contractor shall submit four sets of all Operating and Maintenance manuals to the NIH. Unit prices will be required on a couple of items. Optional Services 1 Replace all existing induction units and 2. Replace all ceramic tiles in patients bathroom. The estimated cost of construction ranges between $500,000 and $1,000,000 (inclusive of options). The Construction is estimated to begin in the Autumn of 1995 Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 11, 1995 at a non-refundable cost of $90.00 (only money orders, certified checks, or cashiers check made payable to NIH) for the Bid Custodian, Building 13, Room G-800, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, Maryland. Request for IFB must be on company letterhead citing the IFB No. 263-95-B(DB)-0244 and indicating the address to which all agenda and communication should transmitted.
