Carroll (509) 527-7214 (Site Code DACW68) The U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District intends to issue an invitation for bids for Equipment Rental to perform levee repair and maintenance work along the Snake and Gros Ventre rivers in Teton County, Wyoming. The work will consist of placing government furnished gravel, cobble, or rip rap rock to repair damage sections of levee reaches; placing gravel surfacing on levee top; placing subgrade material and gravel surfacing on designated levee access ways; and removing deleterious vegetation from designated levee reaches. The work will include the rental of: a) gated or rocklip end dump trucks, minimum 10 cubic yards; b) track mounted hydraulic excavator; c) rubber-tired front end loader; d) dozer with blade and ripper; e) water truck, minimum 4,000 gallon rear spray bar; f) roller compactor, static or vibratory, self-propelled with 6-foot smooth drum; and g) lowboy transport. Work will also include placing 3/4-inch crushed gravel and application of dust retardant. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000.
