Z -- ASBESTO ABATEMENT Sol IFB-95-DAA-50-JC Due 092195 POC David Kulina (717) 397-7406 or Serena Proctor (202) 219-8706 The work to be performed under this project consists of removal of asbestos from designated areas of seven buildings, primarily from pipe insulation in the crawl spaces below the buildings but also including some pipe fitting, duct insulation and miscellaneous abatement. Also included in the work is the replacement of the removed insulation at the Red Rock Job Corps Center in Lopez, Pennsylvania. The estimated cost range of construction is between $25,000 to $100,000. Substantial completion shall be in 84 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Plans and Specifications will be available on August 21, 1995, from the office of the Architect/Engineer, David Lynch and Associates, 500 Golf Road, Lancaster, Pennsylvania 17602, Contact David Kulina (717) 397-7406 for additional information regarding this project. Collect calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications shall be directed to the A/E firm listed above to ensure proper handling of requests. All requests must be in writing. Requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. A pre-bid walk-thru is scheduled for September 6, 1995, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
