14 -- ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICE FOR THE MULTIPURPOSE AMMUNITION PROG POC Contact, Andre Sheppard, Phone (703)604-2119 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract with Raufoss Technology AS, Box 77, N-2831 Raufoss, Norway for engineering and technical services on Multipurpose Ammunition. This contract will provide for Raufoss specialized engineering services in the area of Multipurpose Ammunition. Raufoss unique engineering expertise in the area of manufacturing of Multipurpose Ammunition will be utilized to compare the Government's manufacturing processes to Raufoss manufacturing process to determine process enhancements. This will provide the Government the necessary manufacturing/engineering expertise to enable U.S. manufacturers to independently develop and manufacture Multipurpose Ammunition. Raufoss is the originator of the Multipurpose Ammunition Technology and the only known frim possessing the knowledge, familiarity and demonstrated manufacturing/process capability of the Multipurpose Ammunition Technology to meet this requirement.
