SOLE SOURCE: The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to enter into a Sole Source contract with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, for one (1) Upgrade Kit, Part No. 3D64248G01, integrated into a AN/TPS-63 Radar System. The Upgrade Kit includes a Solid State Transmitter (SSTX), Frequency Agility (FA), and associated parts and materials designed to correct current reliability and maintainability deficiencies found in the existing transmitter and associated circuitry. In addition to the Upgrade Kit, training, interim spare parts, and red-lined changes to the Westinghouse-produced drawings and technical manuals will be procured. The Marine Corps requires delivery of the upgraded radar system by June 1997. No subcontracting opportunities are known to exist.
