Scope of work: 1) Provide and install fire alarm control panels. 2) Provide and install manual pull stations. 3) Provide and install heat detectors and smoke detectors. 4) Provide and install annunciators and audio/visual devices. 5) Provide and install conduit, wiring, backboxes, terminal cabinets, etc. 6) All work shall comply with the N.E.C. 7) All work shall comply with the drawings and specification. Standard Industrial Classification for this solicitation is 1731, Electrical Contractors. Small Business size standard is $7 million. Estimated cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Bids will be accepted only from contractors whose servicing office(s) are located within a seventy five (75) mile radius of the St. Albans, DVA Extended Care Center at time of bid opening. Response time required is within two (2) hours after receipt of notification, and will proceed progressively to completion without undue delay. Solicitation to issue O/A 8/14/95 and due O/A 9/14/95.
