for copies of the solicitation will be accepted via mail. Requests
shall include the solicitation no. RFO3-033470 and your company's name,
phone no., and mailing address. YAG laser shall have a repetition rate
no less than 10 HZ. Laser pulse energy shall not be less than 270
millijoule/pulse at 532 NM. System shall contain two Surelite II lasers
in a single bench top housing unit. The 1064 output from the two lasers
shall be combined into a coaxial beam that will pass through a single
frequency doubling crystal to produce the 532 NM output beam. Adjusting
the frequency doubling crystal will not alter the colinerality of the
propagating output beams. The time between laser pulses shall be
variable down to zero (simultaneous) via external TTL trigger pulses.
Beam divergence shall be less than 0.7 MRADS and beam diamter shall be
less than 7MM. Power requirements shal be 220/240 V single phase.
System shall use a closed loop water to air cooling system. Pulse width
shall be less than 7 nanoseconds at 532 NM. Optical head dimensions
shall not exceed 1.5XO.5X.5 meters. Delivery must be by November 1,
1995. This solicitation will be released through the NASA Acquistion
Bulletin Board (NABB). Offerors are responsible for downloading a copy
of the solicitation, and hard copies will be made available on
request, but the closing date will be the same as that required for the
NABB released solicitation. The Projected solicitation release date is
August 18, 1995. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the
NABB for solicitation release as the solicitation will be released as
soon as permissible whether prior or subsequent to the projected date.
Delivery to Cleveland, Ohio 44135. Delivery schedule is by November 1,
1995. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA MidRange Pilot
Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on
April 16 1993. Destination is NASA LeRC. Suppliers of identical or
equivalent items may submit data to demonstate their ability to satisfy
this requirement. Such data must include, as a minimum, a complete
listing of items, complete specs to identify item/system capabilities
in sufficient detail to permit a technical evaluation, pricing data
(including all applicable discounts), GSA non-mandatory schedule
contract number (if applicable) a point of contact (name and telephone
number) business size, prompt payment terms, freight charges if FOB
origin, and number of days required for delivery and installation, if
applicable. All responsible sources may submit written responses within
15 days from the date of this notice to the address identified above.
All responses received will be considered. No contract award will be
made on the basis of any response to this notice. Solicitation
documents are not available. Inquiries concerning this requirement
