The contractor shall upgrade and conduct acceptance testing of fifteen (15) Mk556 Mod 4 Cable Test Set Upgrade Kits, provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for testing HTTEUP hardware. All procured material will be assembled with (GFE) hardware for delivery to the Government. Anticipate issuing a Firm Fixed Price contract for the basic quantity of fifteen (15) units with four (4) options for an additional four (4) units. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded to that responsible offeror submitting a technically acceptable proposal with the lowest price. Technical acceptability will be determined in accordance with the evaluation factors, based on information submitted in response to the provision in Section L entitled, L34 - Technical Proposal - Complex Item. In order to be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must be technically acceptable in each of the following areas identified by the evaluation factors: (1) Technical Approach and (2) Management Approach. All requests for the solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead. Include in request your name, address, telephone, size of business, cage code and the solicitation number. Telephone requests will not be honored. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. (0221)
