Foley, GP22C/Contracting Officer NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following: Strain Gage Amplifier System which is to be used to condition strain gage signals and to provide precise, low-noise excitation voltages to strain gages. Six modules can be accomodated in a rack adaptor -- The rack also accomodates a power supply module that provides unregulated +/- 24 VDC for the amplifier circuitry, plus six isolated +/- 24 VDC outputs for the bridge excitation circuits and one calibration module-- Quantity 2 ea -- Detailed specifications to be provided with the Request for Quote -- This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA) -- Request for copies of the RFQ must be submitted in writing -- Transmission by facsimile to 205-544-9080 or by Internet e-mail to kenneth.smith@msfc.nasa.gov is acceptable -- The RFQ will be released on or about 15 days after publication of this notice in the Commerce Business Daily (CBD) -- The RFQ will have a 15 day response period -- This procurement is a total small business set.
