70 -- MAINTENANCE OF IBM SYSPLEX TIMER MODEL 9037 POC Mr. Wayne McDonald tel: (410) 966-1323 The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue delivery orders against Contract Number 600-93-0049 with Federal Data Corporation to procure maintenance for a Sysplex Timer, IBM Machine Type 9037 which includes: 6571-E11 PS VP Processor; FC9603 Plant Merge; 9524-OC1 PS MOD 001 for 9033/9037 DISP; FC4040 Port Expansion; FC4048 Expanded Availability; FC9201 1st in Expand Avail Config; FC9204 Generate PS/2 console; FC9200 #2 in Expanded Avail /config; 9021-4501 Sysplex Timer Attachment A-Side; 9021-5501 Sysplex Timer Attachment B-Side; and PN14F3797 Jumper Cables. Federal Data Corporation under contract number 600-93-0049 provides IBM mainframe processors and associated peripherals. Maintenance of the Sysplex Timers under contract 600-93-0049 is being justified for other than full and open competition to limit responsibility to a single source for the entire system operation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any interested organization must submit appropriate information for consideration within 15 days of this announcement.
