The USAF Academy is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and potential technical capability to perform furniture/appliance repair services. The subject procurement will be for a potential one basic year and four option years. The applicable SIC code is 7641 and the size standard is $5.0 million. Furniture to be repaired will include the Cadet dormitories in Vandenberg and Sijan Hall and will consist of wood and upholstery repairs. Small appliances such as lamps and vacuum cleaners will also be included for repairs. Most work will be performed on the USAF Academy facilities. A secured area will be provided for a shop/office and tool storage. The contractor employees shall have at a minimum 24 months experience in furniture repair, upholstering and small appliance repair. Potential offerors shall submit a capability statement that gives their qualifications and experience as it directly relates to furniture and appliance repair. Only small business organizations as defined by the Small Business Administration are asked to respond to this request for capability statements.
