ASSOCIATION OF OLD CROWS AIRBORNE RECONNAISSANCE, SURVEILLANCE, INTELLIGENCE AND ELECTRONIC WARFARE CONFERENCE POC AOC Convention Department (703) 549-1600. The AOC, in cooperation with the Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Office (DARO) will conduct an Airborne Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Intelligence and Electronic Warfare Conference 14-16 November 1995 at Moffett Federal Air Station/Ames Research Labs, Mountain View, California. The conference is intended to bring together representatives from intelligence collection and active electronic warfare in a single forum, allowing them to express their views to each other, the planning and acquisition community and industry. The DARO airborne reconnaissance architectures under development will form the cornerstone of this symposium. The conference will be chaired by Maj Gen Kenneth R. Israel, USAF, Director, Defense Airborne Reconnaissance Office. The keynote speaker will be Mr. Michael Munson, Deputy Director, Defense Intelligence Agency. The conference will have both technical sessions, as well as a full half day of displays and briefings of current systems, equipment and aircraft on the Moffett flightline. Session one will address intelligence requirements of airborne tactical EW Assets (Wild Weasels/Prowler/Raven). Session two will cover the mission of operational commands, squadrons and units in support of joint operations, with briefings by representatives of the CINCs, to include a paper covering understanding the Electronic Warfare needs of the commander. Session III will address intelligence collection management in support of the electronic warrior. Briefings will cover such topics as product reporting, defining an imagery methodology, supporting the joint tactical forces commander, and joint forces operations collection plans. Session IV will cover communications and systems support to the electronic warrior. Papers will include airborne reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence and electronic warfare in drug enforcement, the DARO acquisition management plan, and communications support to airborne reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence and electronic warfare. The conference will be held at the Secret, U.S. Only classification level and unclassified summaries of the papers will be made available to attendees.
