Z -- EAST WING RENOVATIONS, IRS CENTER, ANDOVER, MASSACHUSETTS SOL DACW33-95-B-0081 DUE 100595 POC Jerry Nunziato, 617-647-8424 The work of this project consists of the renovation of the East Wing of the building. The renovation involves providing new drop ceilings, lighting, and raised access flooring in approximately 38,000 sq. ft. of building space. Included in this work is the demolition and construction of wall and office partitions, doors, ramps, and related items. The work also consists of relocating sprinkler heads and HVAC diffusers to accommodate the new ceiling and lighting systems. Electrical work consists of providing power feed, an 800 amp distribution panel, flexible power wiring and grid grounding systems for the access flooring, and relocating/raising switches and receptacles. Electrical work also includes the installation of 22 Government supplied Transient Voltage Surge Suppression units and 11 Government Supplied power distribution units. Note: The schedule for this work is accelerated to meet IRS requirements, and work may be performed 24 hours/day to meet the 120 day completion deadline. Also, the plans and specifications for this job are entirely in metric units. Estimated cost of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days.
