(910)432-2146. This is a notice of intent to purchase (using Simplified
Acquisition Procedures) the following equipment: Global Water
Technologies, Inc., LS3 Water Purification System Model 100 (S) and
(MS) and Accessory Package #2 with the following specifications and
capabilities: Four Stage Filtration Process (Reverse Osmosis,
Filtration from 5 Microns down to 1 Micron, Chemical treatment, and
Ultraviolet (UV) treatment). Flow Rate-85 to 120 gallons per hour at a
steady rate. Power Source-Operate on Solar/Battery with the ability to
use built-in secondary 12 volt battery backup, 110 and 220 VAC
capability at either American 50HZ or International 60HZ. Pump
Pressure-Cut-in at 20 PSI, Cut-out at 40 PSI, Deadend at 60 PSI. Pump
will only function when UV Unit is Operating. Unit must have speed
control for the pump and a manual valve to maintain flow rate when
using water already under pressure. Mechanical Filtration-Have a Pump
Prescreen Filter. At 5 microns refilter down to a 1 micron filter.
Treatment Capability-Have sufficient electron exchange media and
activated carbon to treat 100,000 gallon of water with high levels of
man made pollutants and naturally occurring contaminants, designed as
treatment canister incorporated into the system. Must remove hazardous
materials to levels specified by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Ultraviolet (UV) Equipped-Equipped with UV shortwave for destroying
bacteria and viruses at 2 gallons per minute maximum flow rate.
Dimensions and Weight- No larger then 24''X36''X48'' and no heavier
than 350 lbs. must be mounted on a Hand truck on Dolly for moving
capability. Accessory Package-Additional supply kit including the
following spare parts: pump, UV light(s), 5 micron filter(s), 1 micron
filter(s), treatment canister(s), chlorine test kit(s), spare hose(s),
seal(s) and O ring(s) to treat 200,000 gallons of Non-Potable water.

submitting complete technical and pricing data within 15 days of
publication of this notice. Responses to this notice will be considered
for award using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Failure to provide
adequate information to reflect compliance with all specifications
contained herein will result in disqualification. No solicitation will
be issued as a result of this notice. Request for a copy of a
solicitation will be considered non-responsive to this notice and no
