Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Astronautics Corporation of America, Milwaukee, WI for various test fixtures: PN 135786 norm extender card; 136015 alignment overlay; TE135776-3 test set VDU adapter; TE135086-3 test set MFD; TE13085-3 test set phosphor protect; TE135092-3 test set video amp; TE13091-3 test set interface; TE135088 test set vertical deflection; TE135096 test set bit video; TE135090 test set LVPS; and TE135089-3 test set horizontal deflection--these test fixtures are needed to perform overhaul and repair and performance testing of the Video Display Unit (VDU) P/N 133970-7 P/O AH-64 Attack Helicopter--it is believed that only Astronautics can provide the required fixtures since they are the manufacturer of the VDU and the test fixtures; they developed the Depot Maintenace Work Requirement troubleshooting/repair and performance procedures using the specified fixtures--no other manufacturer or fixtures are known which can satisfy the requirement--there is no technical data package available--any firms believing they can provide the above should contact the Contracting Officer identified within ten days of the date of publication of this synopsis--DAAC71-95-Q-0002 applies--see note #22 (0222)
