Bailey, GP24-C/Contract Specialist, 205-961-2303, or Jane Maples, GP24L/Contracting Officer NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Offer (RFO) for Adhesive Catalyst and Resin -- Item 1, Qty 8, Adhesive Catalyst, 3M Aerospace No. EC-2216 part A (Translucent Form) in 55 gal. metal food grade drum with bung hole in the top closure -- During manufacture, drums should be filled through bung hole to prevent the introduction of contamination -- Material shall be filtered to 10 micron before pumping into drums -- Material weight, 8.0 to 8.4 lb/gal., viscosity, 5000 to 9000cp -- The properties of the mixed adhesive shall have a minimum average overlap shear strength at 75 degrees F of 1200 psi and a minimum average T-peel strength at 75 degrees F of 25 lb/inch width.
