The solicitation as revised will request various labor services in support of EPA's Washington D.C. Headquarters and other metropolitan area satellite facilities. The warehouse operations portion of this facilities support requirement is considered suitable for small disadvantaged firm participation. Therefore, the subject solicitation as revised will reflect the requirement for various labor support services including; moving and relocation services (e.g. equipment, furniture, records and other office related items); recycling services; and providing minor building maintenance and various other miscellaneous services within and around EPA's Washington D.C. metropolitan area facilities. On limited occassions, EPA may require that the contractor provide these various labor support services at designated locations within an approximately 100 mile radius of the Washington metropolitan area, in addition to EPA's eleven (11) Washington metro area facilities. The anticipated contract will be a fixed rate - indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type with a twelve-month base period, and four 12 month option periods. EPA estimates a total of 120,640 labor hours per contract period, or a maximum total of 603,200 hours including all option periods. The applicable SIC code for this requirement is 8744, Facilities Support Management Services. The EPA labor support services requirement as revised remains a 100% small business set aside. Copies of the solicitation should be available in September. Interested parties who previously requested copies of the solicitation need not respond to this notification, and will be retained upon a consolidated bidders list for RFP distribution.
