16 -- UNIVERSAL EXCITER UPGRADE POC Contact, Wilma Washington, Phone (703)604-6100 The Naval Air Systems Command intends to procure the Upgraded AN/ALQ-99 Universal Exciter from AIL Systems Inc., Subsidiary of Eaton Corporation, Commack Road, Deer Park, New York 11729-4591. If awarded, the contract will contain a basic buy of approximately 78 Upgraded Universal Exciters, associated data, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and a priced option for 102 Upgraded Universal Exciters with data and ILS. AIL Systems Inc., is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the AN/ALQ-99 Universal Exciter and the designer of the Upgraded Universal Exciter.
