S. Hensley, PH: 202/267-6211 The U. S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to
issue a modification under Contract DTCG23-95-C-TAC011 to VisiCom
Laboratories Inc., to give the Government the option to purchase a
maximum of 25 VME Interconnecting Group Controller (VIGC) Spare Part
Sets. These spare part sets must include the following: a. System
Control Processor Card (CPU-30ZBE) PN 500-111-001; b. (V)6 Rehost
Application Processor Card (CPU-81B) PN 500-1112-001; c. Intelligent
Serial Interface Controller (PT-VME330A) PN 530-1111-001. The delivery
schedule will be 90 days after issuance and acceptance of the
modification. This contractual action is expected to be executed using
''Other than Full and Open Competition,'' as defined by FAR 6.302-1.
Other firms who can furnish this equipment are invited to submit clear
and convincing data substantiating their capability to furnish the
entire requirement. Vendors failing to provide complete information for
an accurate comparison will not be considered. All responsible sources
may respond to this synopsis and will be considered by the Coast
Guard. All correspondence shall reference the Contract Number
DTCG23-95-C-TAC011. All responses must be received within 15 days after

Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Enterprises: The Department Of
Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU), has program to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working
capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are
available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum
line of credit is $500,000. For further information and applicable
