The National Institutes of Health intends to issue a purchase order, on a sole source basis, for the purchase of two (2) Transmission Pin Sources for Advance PET Imaging Systems...H. The source itself shall be Ge-68 electroplated onto Ni matric foil, encapsulated as a line source. Transmission source must fit the exacting tolerances of the GE Advance PET scanner. Therefore, it is anticipated that the only source capable of meeting this requirement is G.E. Medical Systems.
