C. 253 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. the National Institutes of Health (NCI) intends to procure a Vistra DNA labstation 625 System, catalog'' v625pc-020, from Molecular Dynamics, 928 E. Arques Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA, 94086. The Sample Preparation Robot shall be able to purify DNA without the use of columns or centrifugation; Shall automate template preparation, Sequenase, and Delta-Tag cycle sequencing reactions, and final purfication steps. It is the government's belief that these requirement can only be met by Molecular Dynamics. This is not a formal solicitation. However, concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above. Sources who believe their product can meet the above requirements must supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform.
