The NIST intends to enter into a contract with Beckman Instruments of Columbia, Maryland, under the authority of 41 USC 253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source, to procure a Model 477179 P/ACE Automated, Programmable Capillary Electrophoresis System, and a Model 477125 P/ACE LIF Detector System, and related accessories. This system is the only CE system available with laser induced fluorescence capabilities, which is compatible with existing Beckman systems currently being used by the Federal Government. Delivery shall be FOB Destination -- Gaithersburg, Maryland, within 60 days after date of award. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
