The system is to consist of the following items: 1) Kodak EKTAPRO EM Motion Analyzer, Model 1012/2, 110 VAC, NTSC; 2) 6552-Frame Digital Frame Store; 3) Kodak EKTAPRO intensified imager, Model VSG (excluding 15' cable and controller); 4) Kodak EKTAPRO intensified imager controller, Model N, with 15' cable and storage case, 110 VAC; 5) Multi-channel Data Link, 110 VAC; 6) 50' cable, imager-to-processor (replaces 15' cable for intensified imager); Optical/Acoustic trigger. This facility proposes to procure the above system from Eastman Kodak Co., Motion Analysis Systems Div., San Diego, CA on a sole source basis. This is due to the system needing to be compatible with existing imager, requiring high speed capability of 12,000 frames per second and being capable of having both the existing and new imagers connected to the processor at same time. This solicitation will be negotiated on the basis of other than full and open competition pursuant to authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1). There is no procurement history on this item.
