Work consists of the application of rigid, exterior insulation board and vinyl siding as well as the replacement of door and windows at 12 wood frame buildings on site. Estimated construction cost is $250,000 to $500,000. Estimated construction time is 30 weeks. Bid documents will be available on or about September 1, 1995. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven is charging a non-refundable fee of $40 for bid documents. Personal checks made out to ''Brookhaven National Laboratory'' are acceptable. Checks may be sent immediately and bid packages will be mailed upon availability.
