The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) intends to procure laboratory stools completely assembled conforming to the following specifications: (1) Stools shall be armless with a pedestal base; (2) Pedestal base shall be tubular steel; (3) The base shall have five blades; (4) Casters shall be for hard floors; (5) Stool shall have a pneumatic height adjustment which adjusts from 38 inches at lowest to 44 inches at the highest setting; (6) Stools shall automatically adjust upright and shall tilt downward; (7) Seat width shall be at least 17 inches deep and width at least 18 inches; (8) Backrest shall be articulating; (9) Seat adjusts downward from 5 to 10 degrees and will lock in downward tilt if desired; (10) Seat swivels 360 degrees; (11) Upholstery shall be vinyl. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded.
