Cooper, 304/285-4160 The U.S. Department of Energy's Morgantown Energy Technology Center intends to award a fixed price contract for the purchase of a Lab-Scale Spray Dryer. Required characteristics include:two-liquid nozzle atomizer; drying chamber inside diameter between .4 and .8 m with removable roof to facilitate cleaning; cyclone design for maximum collection efficiency with ease of cleaning; temperature control to not less than 300C; particle production in the range of 40 to 100 microns; and a weight not to exceed 300 kg. This is an unrestricted competition to be processed as a Simplified Acquisition. Written quotation will be required.
