Self contained high/low temperature Test Chamber, 10208 wired, chamber needs a dehumidification system, refrigeration gages necessary, load max 100 pounds of explosives (shells, small missiles, etc), 30''W x 30''H x 8'' Long (Deep), 30'' from floor to chamber bottom, normal operating temp -40 degrees F to +150 degree F, full door on 30'' x 30'' side (end). Small door 18'' x 18'' across on 8'' side about 48'' from end (i.e., 48'' to 64''), outside under garage-type enclosure is very hot (125+ degree F - summer) and high humidity (90-95% RH - summer), garage door closed most of the time, 0 degree F is probably the worst case in winter, must be calibrated bi-annually. It is intended to award this contract to Russell Technical Products, Holland, MI, on a sole source basis due to the fact that the Government already has one chamber box and having the same manufacture is recommended for familiarity of operations. Repairs and calibrations of both temperature box's will ensure that down time will be kept to a minimum and will be more cost effective.
