Hay must be free from mold, rain or frost damage and excessive weeds or other foreign material and baled in the 1995 growing season. May must be USDA Grade No. 2 or better and be 15% crude protein, dry matter 87% minimum 94% maximum, acid detergent fiber not to exceed 40% or 18% crude protein, dry matter 87% minimum 94% maximum, acid detergent fiber not to exceed 35%. First crop is preferred, but second crop will be considered. 519 tons is to be delivered to the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, U.S. Sheep Experiment Station in Dubois, Idaho, and 705 tons is to be delivered to the Mud Lake Feedlot in Mud Lake, Idaho.
