The carriage and chassis will be used to mount a rifled and banded 42-pounder gun in a Fort Sumter Casemate. Contractor will provide all material, labor, and equipment required to sandcast a historically accurate reproduction of the above stated cannon carriage and chassis. Ship and transport the carriage and chassis to the park's boat dock located at Fort Sumter National Monument, Sullivan's Island, South Carolina. The work will be performed in two phases: Phase 1-submission of detailed drawings, cut sheets, certificates of material standards. Phase 2-Fabrication of the carriage and chassis.
