The requirement will provide managing and directing comprehensive programs that assist line management in continuous improvements for protecting the health and safety of workers at all Department of Energy facilities. In addition, this requirement will provide support in establishing state-of-the-art policies, programs, standards, and training that assures protection of the Department's federal and contractor personnel from exposure to occupational injury and illness. The term for this requirement is one (1) 24-month base period with three (3) 12-month option periods. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 8748.
