S -- SNOW REMOVAL, FORT SHERIDAN, IL Sol. DAKF61-95-B-0105. Due 101095. POC: Contract Specialist, Beverly A. Miller, 608/368-2905, Contracting Officer, Brenda Heuer. Furnish all labor, materials, supplies and equipment for plowing and removal of snow from driveways, parking lots, main roads and secondary roadways at Philip H. Sheridan Reserve Center, Ft Shridan, IL and the Reserve Center located at Bldg 900, Ft Sheridan, IL. Contractor shall distribute salt during plowing operations. This shall be done with a salt spreader attachment mounted on the dump truck. Contractor must posses or guarantee, by proof of ownership or rental agreement, the ability to have at his disposal and available at the work site, equipment at the minimum of one end loader with 2-1/2 cu yd capacity; one single axle dump truck with a mounted 7-1/2 ft blade; and, two dump trucks with a 6 cu yd capacity. Major snowfalls, those in excess of six inches, may require the Contractor to furnish an additional end loader and truck. Contractor should provide for this coningency. Snow will be removed from only those areas deemed necessary by the COr. There is approximately 21,300 lineal feet of roads and 1,000,000 sq ft of parking lots located within the Philip H. Sheridan Reserve Center. This is a requirements contract for the period of 1 Nov 95 thru 31 October 1996. Request for IFB must be in writing accompanied by a non-refundable certified check, cashiers check, or money order payable to U.S. Treasury in the amount of $8.00 per IFB. Issue date will be on or about 7 September 1995. No company, personal, registered checks or cash will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit bids which shall be considered.
