The project consists of the construction widening and paving for a left-hand turn lane off of Lytle Creet Road. Also included is construction of a main double lane paved road system with 200 paved parking spaces, approximately 2800 linear feet length and construction of approximately 5500 linear feet exposed aggregate curbing around the perimeter of the road and parking areas. The contract will also include approximately 3000 linear feet of trenching for the installation of a new 3-inch PVC water main with approximately 200 linear feet new electrical service to the proposed concessionare site. Also includes the construction of four new two-unit type, split face concrete block restrooms with plastic vault liner, the demolition of four existing reinforced concrete restrooms with concrete vaults, the installation of approximately 3200 linear feet of 6-foot high, vinyl coated, chain link fence line with four 8-foot wide chain link gates and four 8-foot wide wrought iron type gates at the main entrance/exit road. Additional items include placement of approximately 2500 linear feet of direct burial low voltage irrigation cable for future electrical and irrigation systems, installation of approximately 90 linear feet of 57-inch by 38-inch CMPA and 115 linear feet of 12-inch diameter CMP, existing barrier rock removal and replacment, and grouted riprap for existing channel protection. Two additional restrooms will be included as options to the contract. Contractor inspection and construction staking will also be included in the contract. The project is located on the Cajon Ranger District of the San Bernardino National Forest. Contract time is 200 calendar days for completion of the project.
