Hill at 208-364-4128 This contract is for the supply of all equipment
and installation of a heap detoxification system including a water
rinse of the heap, if necessary and a long term passive bioreactor
treatment of the heap effluent. The Contractor shall install the
necessary equipment, provide all necessary supplies, chemicals and
technology required to detoxify the heap to meet current Nevada
drinking water standards relative to weak acid dissociable (WAD)
cyanide concentration levels of 0.2 parts per million or less. The
existing preg pond shall be modified prior to biodetoxification and
used as a holding pond to facilitate the biodetoxification process. At
the conclusion of the biodetoxification, the preg pond shall be
incorporated into the passive bioreactor system. The system shall
include all gages, piping, meters, liners and infiltration fields
associated with biotreatment and eventual infiltration of heated heap
drain water. The project site is located in the SE 1/4 of Section 3, t.
11N., R. 39 E., Mt. Diablo Meridan near the historic mining town of
Grantsville, Nevada (approximately 4 miles south and west of
Berlin-Inchthyosaur State Park via Forest Roads #411 and #108). Work is
estimated to begin no later than September 29, 1995 with 150 calendar
days for completion. Price range is estimated to be between $100,000
