Concerns having the ability to furnish the following services are requested to give written notification (including telephone number and point of contact) to the acquiring office listed in this notice within 30 calendar days from the date of this synopsis: ``The Government intends to solicit proposals from all responsible sources for the design and construction and subsequent lease of an approximately 75,000 square feet courthouse in Jackson, TN. The courthouse is to be constructed on one city block within the delineated area bounded as follows: on the north by College Street; on the south by Chester Street; on the east by Cumberland Street; on the west by West Alley Street (also known as New Market Street). Locations must be combined within the interior space created by the aforementioned boundaries. Any block less than one acre in size will not be considered. Buildings which exist on any site offered will need to be removed to accomodate new construction, parking, and certain anticipated security requirements. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space is required by December 1997. Lease term will be for twenty years firm with two five year renewal options.'' The issuance of the solicitation for offers for this requirement is tentatively scheduled for late September 1995.
