This project consists of restoring supporting structure of both bridge
abutments. The bridge was originally constructed as part of the
Historic Columbia River Highway, but is now being used as a foot
bridge. Both abutments have been undermined. Repair will consist of
using concrete filled ballistic nylon bag and morter to fill undermined
areas to provide supporting structure to the existing abutment
footings. Some minor channel modification involving removal of material
will also be included. Access will be from the east along the Historic
Columbia River Highway where it bisects I-84 (approximately 1 mile).
Access will require minor brush and debris/slough removal. This
solicitation (request for quotations) is a 100% set-aside for small
business concerns. (0226) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0214 19950815\Y-0015.SOL)
