Work to be performed includes, but is not limited to the following: Removal of exterior doors and frames, exterior windows, exterior metal walls, exterior mechanical and electrical equipment, interior walls, interior doors and frames, interior finishes to include carpet and acoustical ceiling, and interior ductwork and mechanical and electrical equipment. Installaion of new cast in place concrete items, and precast concrete hollow core plank deck and topping, new concrete masonry unit walls and lintels, new 4851 square foot pre-engineered metal building addition, new metal wall panels, new gypsum board and metal stud partitions and finishes, new plumbing, new fire detection/alarm systems, new acoustical ceiling system, new exterior and interior doors, frames, hardware, and glazing, new HVAC system and modifications to existing HVAC system, new overhead ceiling doors and tracks, and new enlarged toilet facilities. Performance period is 180 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. IFB will be issued on or about 31 August 1995. The proposed procurement listed herein is restricted to Small Disadvantaged Businesses. Standard Industrial Classification code for this procurement is 1542. Any concern responding to this solicitation is classified as a small business if the average annual receipts of the concern and its affiliates for the preceding three fiscal years do not exceed $17.0 million dollars.
