solicitation invites proposals for improvements to an existing building
located in the Polo Grounds Shopping Center at 818 S. Military Trail
for use as a postal carrier annex. Work includes interior demolition,
painting, flooring, new toilets, locker & lunchrooms, new floor mounted
lookout gallery, exterior covered carrier loading area and fencing.
Cost range: $450,000 to $525,000. Construction time 90 days. A
preproposal conference has been established for August 24, 1995, at
9:00 AM, at the facility. All interested parties are encouraged to
attend. Solicitation instructions, conditions, and other contract
documents may be examined at the Facilities Service Office, USPS, Suite
