Z -- PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, PROJECT NO. KNMD 96-4401, IMPROVE FAMILY HOUSING, HICKAM AFB HAWAII SOL F64605-95-B0034 POC H'STRELLA A. CROOM, CONTRACTING OFFICER. The Air Force is seeking sources for this project which shall include but not be limited to construction and demolition services for Military Family Housing (MFH) units at Hickam AFB Hawaii. There are a total of 124 housing units (102 units in the basic with 22 optiona1 units) that require renovation work. This project requires demolition (including asbestos & lead based paint abatement), site preparation, utilities, and complete renovation of the exterior and interior of the MFH units. A solicitation will be issued in compliance with Public Law 100-656, Business Opportunity Development Program Act of 1988, establishing a test of unrestricted competition. The estimated cost of construction will be OVER $10 MILLION DOLLARS. There will be a NON-REFUNDABLE CHARGE FOR EACH SOLICITATION PACKAGE. The solicitation will include a drawing set of approximately 230 sheets with technical provisions of approximately 300 plus pages.
