Ayres & Associates (Ayres), 707 Central Street, Seal Beach, CA, a purchase order for equipment and training on a man-rated, wire- rope, self-powered, swing-stage to be installed at USIA's Greenville, NC Relay Station. Based on an Agency's market- survey, Ayres is the only currently known source of this developmental, double-line rope, single point of attachment, swing-stage that can fit within the Agency's 700 pound weight limitation. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy the Agency's requirements. This synopsis of intent to award the above-stated purchase order shall not be considered a solicitation document; therefore, no order will be placed on the basis of any response to this notice.
