The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-96-G-6321 with Lake Shore Incorporated, 900 West Breitung Avenue, Iron Mountain, MI 49801. Orders will be issued for Engineering Change Kits, Refurbishments, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Materials, Maintenance Support Materials, Repair Parts, Engineering Services and Support for the AN/SLQ-48(V) Vehicle Handling System (VHS) and Umbilical Cable Handling System (UCHS). Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). Lake Shore Inc. is the only known company which currently possesses the in-depth technical knowledge of the equipment requirement to satisfactorily perform the work under the orders contemplated herein. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirements.
