Contracting Squadron, on behalf of SAF/IA office, The Pentagon,
Washington, DC, intends to contract on an unrestricted basis to support
the operation of the Case Management Control System (CMCS), an
automated management system for supporting Foreign Military Sales
(FMS). This support contract will be to provide software maintenance
support for CMCS, its related subsystems and the Training Control
System (TRACS), a sub-element. CMCS currently has 10,150 production
programs, 37 subsystems, 260 FOCUS rata bases, and 34 )M^^tes of
production files/data. The applications software was developed using
Information Builders, Incorporated (IBI), FOCUS. CMCS operates on a
U.S. Government (USG) owned AMDAHL 5890-600E, using VM/ESA operating
system. The system also uses IBM 370 ASSEMBLER, Conversational Monitor
System (CMS), XEDIT/EXEC, REXX, C, Netview, IBM File Transfer Package
(FTP), Internet, TCP/IP, and some off the shelf and contractor
developed, USG owned PC-based software. There are approximately 1700
batch jobs processed per month, approximately 100,000 daily
transactions and there are approximately 800 users at various
locations, including O-CONUS. PTtYhhhhhhcCMCS system is currently
hosted at the Defense Megacenter Denver, CO,with a scheduled relocation
date of December 1995 to the Defense Megacenter Tinker, Oklahoma City,
OK. CMCS is impacted by numerous Department of Defense (DOD) agencies
and Congressional legislation. The level of interest and the dynamics
of the system require the contractor to be flexible and responsive to
meet USG needs. Continual system availability is of the utmost
importance. Contractor must have capability of providing the entire
