The Department of the Army, Intelligence and Security Command Support
Battalion (Provisional) intends to award a one year contract with four
option years for computer network integration and operations support
for the Training and Contingency Division in Washington D.C. and the
National Ground Intelligence Center in Charlottesville, VA. ADP
platforms requiring operations support include IBM mainframes, UNIX and
Novell network fileservers, network application fileservers, network
management systems, databases and magnetic back-up media. Software
applications and ADP platforms requiring integration and systems
administration support include, but are not limited to, networks using
UNIX Client-Server, Novell, DEC, IBM RISC, Silicon Graphics, MacIntosh
operating systems, relational databases using software products such as
Sybase, Progress and Oracle, imagery exploitation using Mosaic, Web
Servers, Framemaker and Quark. ADP network management support includes
Ethernet networks using Transmission Control/Internet Protocol running
UNIX Client-Server, Novell, DEC and MacIntosh operating systems,
networks using Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Cisco and NewBridge Routers
and commercial network management software products such as Wollongon
Pathway. ADP configuration and technical management will include
technical support in the area of Information Systems Security. Software
applications and databases usd in performing configuration management
include, but are not limited to, AutoCad, NetCensus, Progress and
Oracle. This proposed acquisition has been totally set-aside for small
business concerns. All proposed personnel must possess a Top Secret
Clearance with a Special Background Investigation (SBI) and must meet
Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility requirements as
determined by the United States Army Personnel Security Clearance
Facility (USAPCCF) by the date of contract award anticipated to be o/a
November 30,1995. Requests for the RFP must be in writing. To ensure
timely processing, all solicitation requests should be received within
15 calendar days after publication of this notice. The Government's
obligation hereunder is made contingent upon Congress enacting FY96
