COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF AUGUST 17,1995 PSA#1412AVAILABILITY OF AIR COMBAT COMMAND (ACC) THEATER BATTLE MANAGEMENT
(TBM) ARCHITECTURE PRODUCTS Contact, TBM Architecture Product
Representative, 804/764-8865. Air Combat Command/Directorate of
Requirements (ACC/DR) announces the availability of the ACC Theater
Battle Management (TBM) Architecture products. The complete
Architecture release is classified SECRET and represented with multiple
views. The IDEFO functional models and IDEFIX data models identify the
functions performed to accomplish command and control of theater air
operations, the information used by those functions, and the rules and
relationships that exist between the functions. The physical models,
or Graphical Database, provide information about the operational
facilities and C4I systems used in performing the functions. When used
together, the functional, data and physical architecture models
provide a clear picture how the functions are performed and provide
necessary information for requirements analysis or simulation. The
models depict the activities and connectivity of the following US Air
Force Command and Control facilities: ABCCC, ASOC, AOC Plans, AOC Ops,
AWACS, CRC, FACP, TACP, Joint Stars, F15WOC, F16WOC and WOCI. The
models are available on DOS based, computer disks containing Pkzipped,
System Architect files for those organizations having System
Architect, and hardcopies of the models are available for those
organizations that do not. System Architect software requires at least
a 386 processor, 4 MB of RAM and Windows 3.0 and is available from
Popkin Software at (212) 571-3434 ext 202. The Defense Technical
Information Center (DTIC) is the point of contact for all TBM
Architecture Product distributions. Requesters may use the Defense RDT
and E On-Line System (DROLLS) or call the DTIC Reference Services
Branch at DSN 284-7633, or commercial (703) 274-7633. The DTIC control
number for the TBM Architecture Products is ``ADM400030.'' Questions
should be directed to a TBM Architecture Product Representative at
(804) 764-8865 or via e-mail at ``tbmmodel@hqaccdr.langley.af.mil''.
Note: The TBM Architecture products are for ``information only''
purposes and shall not be construed as a request for proposal (RFP) or
