The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington has a requirement for the National Institutes of Health Division of Engineering Services, Bethesda, Maryland. The Government intends to award multiple fixed unit price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts for various electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning repair parts and supplies under the following FSC codes: 29, 31, 41, 43, 45, 47, 48, 51-53, 59, 61, and 62. This list of FSC's is subject to change before the solicitation is issued. Offerors will propose upon certain FSC classes and proposals will be evaluated for multiple awards. Offerors must have a facility within seventy-five (75) road miles of the NIH main campus in Bethesda, MD and must be able to meet delivery requirements specified in the solicitation. Offerors will be evaluated upon proposed discount percentage to be applied to the Trade Services Corporation catalog price. Award will be made to the low priced, technically acceptable, responsible offeror by lot. The time, date, and location of the pre-proposal conference will be specified in the solicitation. The contract will have a base period of performance of one year and four one year options. FAR clause 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract (MAR 1989).
