The Salish & Kootenai Housing Authority is requesting proposals for professional services for construction of HUD project MT. 13-37. This project consists of a number of conventional units to be built on the Flathead Indian Reservation. The Architecture/Engineer must be familiar with HUD requirements and contracting processes. This proposal should include professional experience as well as the number of previous HUD-related jobs, location of professional services to be provided and Indian Preference qualifications, if any. Selection Criteria: (1) Indian preference; (2) Location (proximity to Housing Authority); (3) Previous experience with Housing Authority; (4) Previous HUD experience (familiar with HUD policies, payment limits and cost containment); (5) Overall experience; (6) Adequacy of staff; (7) Normal character of past experience; (8) Recent typical commissions; and (9) File of approved previous plans. The proposal procedures and award of contracts will be conducted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidder and Salish & Kootenai Housing Authority Indian Preference Policy.
