D -- PLACEMENT OF FEDLINK ORDER SOL W5LEXIS-A3 DUE 093095 POC Contracting Officer, Martha Loverde, (202)260-9986 The EPA intends to procure access to Mead Data Central's LEXIS-NEXIS automated legal research systems. The on-line computerized legal data base includes, in full text, the following files: United States Code, Federal Court Decisions, including Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, District Court, Court of Claims, Court of Customs, and Patent Appeals; SEC Rules, Regulations and Administrative Determinations; Legislative History for public laws and House, Senate and Conference Reports; Patent, Trademark, and Copyright cases; State materials, and others. Through this Interagency Agreement, EPA/OGC and ORC is to receive LEXIS legal data base services under the Federal Library Committee's FY 1996 contract with Mead Data Central. Mead Data Central will provide access to its computerized files, provide all necessary LEXIS operating software, and will provide user training. EPA's costs will be in accordance with the various pricing structures provided by the contracts negotiated by the Library of Congress with Mead Data Central. The period of performance is from October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. No solicitation document exists. Responses to this synopsis must be in writing, no telephonic inquiries will be accepted.
