This solicitation is to obtain analytical services for samples collected during site investigations and remediation activities at various military installation in Northern California and Nevada under Navy Contract No. N62474-94-D-7609, CLEAN II. Contractor shall provide all personnel, supplies, instrumentation, equipment, and facilities to transport locally, prepare, analyze, report, store, and dispose of samples in accordance with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) methodology and the EPA contract laboratory program (CLP). Contractor shall be responsible for administrative matters associated with these activities, including providing adequate and appropriate sample collection containers; scheduling daily transport of samples from local sites; documentations of all steps of sample receipt, preparation, analysis, and reporting; maintenance of a laboratory information management system (LIMS); documentation of sample and associated waste disposal; and maintenance of long-term data storage. Contractor shall be California-certified to perform laboratory analysis and shall successfully complete a Navy audit before the award of this contract. PRC will issue a fixed unit price, indefinite quantity type subcontract to the successful offerors. The subcontract term will be for 5 years, consisting of a base year and 4 option years. A formal RFP will be issued on or about September 4, 1995.
