SWEETRA, (215)697-9692 The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to continue to acquire, from Intra-Med Inc. of Jeffersonville, IN, 0.5 Tesla (T) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services for the Radiology Department, Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. These services shall consist of: (1) operation of their current facility at the Naval Medical Facility by contractor provided full-time staff, consisting of four technologists and two receptionist; (2) complete maintenance/repairs and housekeeping as necessary during the contract period; and (3) ultimate removal of their turnkey MRI facility. A Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Service type contract is anticipated. The effort will consist of a base year to commence on 01 Jan 96 and continue through 31 Dec 96, with provisions for one option year, one four month option and four one month option periods. The proposed procurement will be solicited under Solicitation No. N00140-95-R-N112 and will be issued approximately 15 Sep 95 and will close approximately 30 days thereafter.
