Hurd, Contracting Officer This Procurement is a 100% small business
set-aside. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting
proposals from qualified organizations having the capability to provide
data management, data analysis, and logistical support for a national
collaborative research effort between NIDA and 17 existing AIDS
prevention research sites in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Rio de Janeiro,
Brazil. The offeror must possess comprehensive knowledge and expertise
in HIV/AIDS and drug abuse prevention and intervention research, as
well as behavioral science, ethnography, statistics and modeling
techniques. The offeror must also be capable of providing
administrative and technical support for process and outcome evaluation
activities, including data processing, data coordination and software
development as well as perform quality control and statistical analyses
of both quantitative and qualitative data. The offeror must also have
proven experience in providing logistical support and innovative
information dissemination services for different types and sizes of
technical and scientific meetings. Estimated issuance date of RFP No.
NO1DA-6-5052 is August 30, 1995 and responses due to be received in the
Contracting Office 30 calendar days thereafter. Written requests for
copies of solicitations will be honored if received within twenty
calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. Written requests
received after this period will be filled on a first-come, first-served
basis until the supply is exhausted; however, there is no assurance
that copies requested after the twentieth day will reach the requestor
before the due date for receipt of responses. The Government reserves
the right to make more than one award or no award at all in respose to
this RFP. Moreover, the RFP may be amended or canceled if determined to
be in the best interest of the Government. Written requests whall be
